Perennial Supervisor

Perennial and Bedding Plant Supervisor, Wholesale

 

Northeast Nursery, a supplier of fine plant and bulk materials for over 32 years, is seeking a perennial and bedding plant supervisor for its wholesale nursery division. The supervisor will be responsible for the care and maintenance of the perennial department.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Oversee off-loading of deliveries to receiving area.
• Preparation of necessary paperwork for receipt of product into inventory.
• Oversee and participate in the pricing and placement of material in sales area.
• Oversee and participate in the maintenance of material.
• Assist customers in the selection of materials.

Job qualifications also include:

• Ability to perform independently, and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail
• Solid organizational and time management skills.

Candidates should have a working knowledge of horticultural materials and practices.
