Help Wanted: Customer Service Representative

Northeast Nursery, one of the most recognized names on the North Shore for contractor supplies and material, is looking for a seasoned, full-time Customer Service Representative to add to our busy sales and service team. This representative will report to the Contractor Center Manager, and will be responsible for a multitude of tasks as outlined below.

Cashiering Responsibilities Required

Positive attitude in helping customers

Cash handling skills

Accuracy in processing transactions

Process credits and payments

Able to answer phone inquiries and redirect calls

Able to quickly handle transactions

Professional and brief on hand-held radio communications

Willingness to learn product knowledge of items sold at the store

Knowledge of product locations and ability to lead customers to the right aisle and shelf

 

Other Responsibilities:

 

Help maintain aisle cleanliness so that customers can move safely throughout the store

and still have access to merchandise

May be asked at times to unbox new merchandise and assemble

Help with re-stocking shelves

Help with moving merchandise as the seasons change

Forklift experience a plus but not necessary

 

Physical Job Requirements:

 

Walking and standing for long periods of time

Bending, Stooping, Lifting and moving product around the store

Ability to read labels in English. However, a bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish would be helpful

 

 

Hours

 

Full Time and Part Time hours available

One weekend day is required
