Before you install a plant or lawn or build a wall you need to assess the drainage throughout the site. Most sites need some kind of drainage. Every landscape project changes the flow pattern of excess water from irrigation and rainfall. A proper drainage system can protect the homeowner's significant investment in their home and landscape.

When assessing the yard there are (5) five areas that should be looked at:

Problem	Solution
		Downspouts need catch basins and grates: Excess water around the home cracks and damages the foundation and basement walls. Catch basins and grates remove water from downspouts to protect your home's foundation and basement walls.
		Planter areas need basins and atrium grates: Excess water can drown plants, destroying your landscape investment. Catch basins and atrium grates remove excess water to protect plant root systems from over water and rot.
		Driveways and Patios need channel drains: Water from driveways, walks or patios can enter garage and home and cause a slippery area when wet. Channel drains and grates remove sheets of water moving across the surface of driveways, sidewalks and patios. This will prevent the water from entering into the home.
		Low spots need Flo-Well or catch basins: Puddles in the yard create muddy feet for pets and guests, tracking debris into the home. Puddles are also a breeding area for mosquitoes and other insects. Catch basins and grates can be used in low areas of landscaping to eliminate these problems .v
		Where the water should end up: NDS has a solution with a new product called the Flo-Well® which will eliminate puddles and mud by safely infiltrating the water into the ground. Another option is to install pop-up emitters that would be at the end of the line, which would allow the water to disperse into the street.

Catch Basins Series
NDS Brings to you high quality Basins, Grates, and Risers for all of your drainage needs. All NDS grates are designed to withstand normal abuse in landscaping applications. Installed properly, 9x9 inch, 12x12 inch, 18x18 inch, and 24 inch grates are suitable for light vehicular traffic. All NDS catch basins are suitable for both landscape and hardscape applications. NDS high impact plastic drainage systems are lightweight, less expensive and easier to install than metal and concrete products. Ideal for most residential and commercial applications, they will not fade or rust. For Heavy traffic applications NDS offers a full line of cast iron and steel grates. They may be found in this product category as well as in the DuraCast(tm) line of grates and basins.
Grates
Round Grates
NDS round grates are one piece injection molded from structural foam polyolefin's for maximum strength. Ultraviolet light inhibitors are added to prevent fading and cracking from exposure to the sun. NDS grates come in a variety of sizes ranging from 3 to 12 inches, and come in green, black, gray, and sand.
Atrium Grates
NDS Atrium Grates are designed specifically for landscape applications in which debris may clog the grate. Made out of high performance polyolefin's, NDS Atrium Grates have the ability to withstand normal abuse when installed properly. Atrium grates are ideal for planter beds, mulch areas, window wells, and areas prone to debris collection. Even when leaves and other small debris have accumulated, the Atrium grate design features enough open surface area to allow water to flow freely into the drainage system
Square Grates
NDS square grates are one piece injection molded from structural foam polyolefin's for maximum strength. Channel Drains
The patented Pro Series Channel is modular and consists of 20" (500mm) pieces, which fit one into the other via mechanical interlocking joints. This superior joint will not separate as concrete expands and contracts like slip fit channel connections. The modular design allows you to reach any length easily, keeping its structural compactness and resistance. There is a Pro Series Channel for the small to very large application, available in 5", 8", 12", and 16" widths. Pro Series channel is offered in two depths. The deep profile is for heavy flows and the shallow profile for less water run off. There are three different types of Pro Series Channel Grates: A PVC Pedestrian grate with heel proof grate pattern, a PVC light vehicular grate for passenger vehicles and light trucks, and a Load Star glass filled reinforced nylon heavy traffic grate for tractor trailer and pneumatic forklift traffic.
Flo-Well
NDS# FWSPS3 structural foam polyolefin side panels with UV inhibitors with 18- 1 1/2" Knockout leaching ports and 3- 4.5" knockout inlet/outlet ports per panel. 24" high with recessed .75" lip for firm stacking. For specifications of Flo-Well click here.
