Want the best lawn on the block?

Drought stress can occur with fluctuation in available water due to evaporation, leaching and transpiration. Frequent wilting may promote the complete shutdown of turf grass which can result in weakening the turf and make it more prone to disease, nutrient deficiencies and root shrinkage.

This calls for H3O! So purchase this proven product at Northeast Nursery, make the application, and watch your plants, shrubs and lawn become more drought resistant. With multiple applications they will gain even greater protection.

Turf & Irrigation professionals at Northeast Nursery are confident you’ll be watering up to 50% less than before, and re-watering at longer intervals, giving you more time to enjoy your yard.

Take your lawn from this:

To this:

It's that easy.

Northeast Nursery supplies H3O in the convenient 1 Quart size with hose end sprayer attachment, 2 Gallon Concentrate re-fill size and the H3O Plus Granular that we carry  is in a 40 lb. bag which covers up to 14,800 square feet.

The granular form can be used with any standard spreader equipment, while the liquid quart can simply attach to the end of your home garden hose.

Wondering how to use the sprayer for your specific needs? Here are some tips that might help.

Trees, Shrubs and individual Plants:

Using a hose-end sprayer, apply enough H3O to thoroughly saturate the soil throughout the root zone. For Flower and Vegetable Gardens, apply around plant root zone at a rate of 1 quart of concentrate per 1,000 square feet.

Lawns:

Soil should be wet to moist. If using a hose-end sprayer, 1 quart treats 2,500 to 5,000 square feet. Immediately after applying, water thoroughly rinsing H3O down into the roots.

Potted Plants:

Mix 2 ounces of concentrate with each gallon of water and saturate the soil throughout the pot or container.

FAQs straight from the brand:

Q: How do you apply Hydretain (H3O)?

A: Hydretain is a concentrated liquid solution which must be diluted before applying. It may be applied by spray or drench. The H3O quart bottle has a ready to use hose-end proportioned applicator which dilutes as it sprays. Just attach a garden hose, break off the safety tab, turn the knob to the on position and begin applying. For maximum coverage, use broad spray strokes allowing for up to a 20’ swath (10 feet in either direction). After applying, water in thoroughly.

Q: Is Hydretain (H3O) only available in liquid form?

A: We are pleased to announce that H3O is now available as a granular as well as its original liquid varieties. Hydretain Granular makes application even simpler and does not require immediate watering in.

Q: Hydretain (H3O) comes out of the bottle too fast. How can I get the desired coverage?

A: The hose-end applicator’s dilution and application rates are based on water pressure and volume. If your water pressure and volume are too high you will have to move more quickly to achieve the desired coverage. If you cannot more quickly enough, turn down the water volume at your hose bib.
